If you don’t think Keith Olbermann is a self-aggrandizing, arrogant leftist media bully, take a listen. You don’t have to be a Republican to be offended by this man’s diatribes. Honest Americans should take note of this kind of history-rewriting accomplished by socialists, elitists and leftists, and how they can justify doing so for their political purposes.

Why is this a problem? Bush is a failure. He hasn’t captured or killed Osama Bin Laden. He has not won the Iraq or Afgan wars. He hasn’t decreased the size or influence of government. He hasn’t fixed illegal immigration or secured our borders. He never overturned Roe vs. Wade.
My theory is that Bush doesn’t truly care about these or really any issues.

Have you ever, ever tried to do something important – only to be opposed at every opportunity? Imagine trying to do all the things GWB set out to do, WITH the support of the NoDems and an unbiased media. What would GWB’s presidency have looked like if he had been accorded the same support as FDR. The Nodems have undercut him at every turn. The media has questioned his intelligence and his policies. Clinton was afforded every break by the Nodems and the media (even after being censured/impeached by Congress).
By the way, GWB could never have overturned Roe v. Wade. That’s the Supremes’ business, not the president’s. Yes, GWB hasn’t captured or killed Osama Bin Laden … but no one has captured or killed any rogue protected by other rouges. And even with a price on his head, OBL hasn’t had anyone in his closed circle do the dirty deeds of (a) turning him in for the reward, or (b) bringing in his head for the reward.
Bush can’t fix immigration unless Congress writes the law, and agrees to enforce it. And even if Congress did pass a law, do you think the ACLU would allow it to go into effect?
Bush isn’t a dictator. He isn’t V. Putin. He isn’t Hugo C. He’s hamstrung by an unpopular Congress and a weak Supreme Court. Bush was elected twice by the people of the US, but was never allowed much freedom to pull of his agenda by the Congress.
Note: Did you know that Bush can’t authorize spending one dime. Only Congress can spend money. Did you know that only Congress can write laws?
So, next time you try to do something important, imagine trying to do it OPPOSED by USA Today, The NY Times, The Washington Post, every major news outlet, and a majority in both houses of Congress. Imagine trying to do what you felt needed to be done with the kind of disrespect and enmity of so many UNELECTED but powerful foes. And then imagine someone saying, “Well, the only reason Hickoryrose didn’t do what he/she wanted to do was because he/she didn’t truly care.”
Just imagine.
Think about it.
