I love blogging. This is my second site – one dedicated to opining about American culture and American politics. Sometimes I’ll just want to have fun. Sometimes I’ll want to poke fun. Sometimes I’ll be serious as a heart attack. Sometimes I’ll have my tongue glued to my cheek. You’ll have to figure out if I’m having fun, making fun, serious, or cheeky. Should be fun!

I am responding to the putative letter from Dr A Wilson that is alleged to have been published in the WSJ on 08 08 08.
Although it eludes me in the WSJ on-line archives, it was sent to me by a Republican supporter for my comment.
Was it ever published, or is the WSJ reference merely a ploy to gain some credence as the e-mail goes on its rounds. There seem to v\be some differences in the reported publishing date, but they could be typos.
If this is a genuine letter, then the lady betrays her education and her Americanism by complaining about everyone else, and finally by bleating that no one agrees with her.
My message to the elusive Dr is,
“It’s a Democracy, stupid!”
She should not have to look hard to find those who agree with her to the nth degree. the KKK, the White Supremacists, the Neo-Cons, Rednecks, The fascist religious right, the NeoNazis [but I repeat myself!], and all who are short on love, peace, brotherhood, and acceptance but long on hatred, persecution, prejudice, and the politics of division.
If you can put flesh on her moaning bones I’d be glad to receive verification and contact. I am hoping that she is not your wife or mother.
