The 44th Anniversary of D-Day

D-Day.  I want to say “Thank You” to “the greatest generation” … those men and women who purchased freedom for Europeans and Asians; who left the safety and security of the North American continent to shed their blood and give their lives for the enslaved masses in North Africa and Europe, and Russia as well as the millions in China, Southeast Asia, Korea, the Pacific Islands.

I don’t know what it is like to hear our country’s name and reputation ridiculed by the same millions who owe their freedom and their lives to you!  I can’t imagine what it is like to hear the voices of millions of ungrateful people of the world chant for our destruction when you still have shrapnel in your body, and after you watched your friends mowed down by Nazi machine gunners and Rising Sun kamikazes.

I can tell you who they get their views and news from.  SkyNews, the BBC, and International CNN provide the information our enemies use to vilify us.  These are the most leftist news organizations in the world – owned and operated by moguls in Atlanta, London, and New York – isn’t that sick?

For that, I’m sorry.  I’m sorry you lived to see these days – when our own politicians provide the ammunition our enemies use to snipe at us … especially those in the Democrat party.

Lord, help us if Obama becomes president, and the Senate and House are still owned and operated by the Democrats and these weak Republicans.  The US is to

Forty-four years ago our national leaders resolved to destroy a terrorist organization that had enslaved millions of people on the European continent.  Today, most of our national leaders can’t agree on what a terrorist organization is, and even if they could and did – would they have the courage to destroy it?

Democrat Senators have just published a finding; they tell us that the Bush administration deceived the American people concerning the reason(s) for going to war with Saddam Hussein.  They tell us that the Bush administration used faulty intelligence to draw faulty conclusions.

These same Democrat Senators gutted the intelligence community of its assets for twenty years; they wouldn’t fund the CIA, or keep the NSA fully capable of collecting vital intelligence.

Lord, deliver us from Democrat politicians who place their personal power and governmental perks above our nation’s security.  Deliver us from Democrats who use the finest health care available for their personal needs in the short run while preparing to destroy it in the long run.  (Senator Edward Kennedy didn’t fly to London or Toronto for diagnosis and treatment.  He received the finest health care in the world, and yet he and his ilk are prepared to oversee a new health care bureaucracy!  And they will do so with the support of young people who get their news from Al Francen, Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Barbara Streisand, and Jane Fonda.  Good grief!)
